The Palisades are located in California's Sierra Mountains. Just a few hours drive from Las Vegas through Death Valley gets you there. Jeremiah and I headed out to attempt a few climbs on Temple Crag over a long weekend. A comfortable base camp near a vibrantly aqua blue lake surrounded by large walls just a short hike away is a dream come true. We made the most of our time and left sore and satisfied.
