Charlie and I packed up and headed out to Las Vegas for some warm weather and mountain adventures between Christmas and New Years. Our welcome to fabulous Las Vegas included an entire day of rain/snow. The day was spent soaking up some sun and warmth while nervously and incessantly peaking across the park to see if we could literally watch snow melt. Despite a slow start the weekend include plenty of sunny hours sport climbing on the classic Red Rocks patina and even a long trad route on the west side of the park. A lovely full value trip.
