Eldorado Canyon is popular for good reason. A short drive west from Denver and even shorter hikes to the climbs. The climbing here is funky and thought provoking. Eldorado hosts everything from moderate trade routes for beginners to hard test pieces that will challenge your strength, both physical and mental. Keep an eye on the weather lest it sneak over the peaks and catch you unawares. If it does, the cars are only a short walk away.
Colorado holds endless options for ice climbing. You can stop in Clear Creek Canyon for a short 5 minute walk to some single pitch moderates or you can hike into Rocky Mountain National Park a few miles for a more secluded adventure.
“To touch the sky, you just have to get that little bit closer.”
